Terms of service

DRAFT. Not yet reviewed by a solicitor. Do not rely on this text until it is finalised.

Who we are

Signet Film is a trading name of Nathan Dennis, a sole trader. Contact: [email protected].

What you buy

Short motion-graphics promo films and branded still images made from material on your public website. Current prices are £149 for one film and £349 for three films and five stills. Prices are shown before you pay. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

Previews

We may make an unrequested, watermarked preview from your public website. You are under no obligation to buy it. The preview price is held for 10 days from when we send it. After that, the preview link closes and the offer ends.

Payment and delivery

You pay in full, upfront, through Stripe. We email download links once the files are ready. For previews you have already seen, delivery is normally immediate after payment. Download links are permanent: the files stay available through them until we launch a client library, and we will tell you before any change and give you a way to keep access.

Upgrading to the set

If you bought one film, you can upgrade to the set at any time for £200. The £149 you paid counts towards the £349 set price, and the film you bought counts as one of its three films.

Your material

You confirm you have the right to the logos, text and images on your website that we use. You can ask us to correct factual errors in a film before or shortly after delivery.

Licence

Once paid, you may use the films and stills on your own channels, website and paid social ads, worldwide and without time limit. Music is licensed through our stock music provider; if a platform raises a claim, tell us and we will clear it. You may not resell the files as stock.

Cancellations and refunds

These services are sold to businesses, so consumer cancellation rights do not apply. If a film has a fault we caused, we will fix it or refund you.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
